The School Day

We are at school for 6 hours and 35 minutes each day - we have 32 hours and 55 minutes each week in school

8.00 am - Before school (breakfast club/morning sports/tutoring - by special arrangement only: please contact office)

8.35 am - School doors open with a 'soft start' (Early morning activity / next steps improvement)

8.45 am - School day starts (Registration for attendance)

9.00 am - Core subject learning

9.55 am - Morning break (Lower Key Stage 2 – snack eaten on the playground)

10.20 am - Morning break (Upper Key Stage 2 – snack eaten on the playground)                                   

10.45 am - Assembly (Mon: Values; Tues: Oracy; Wed: Values; Thurs: Singing; Fri: Celebration)

11.00 am - Core subject learning

12.00 – 1.00 pm - Lunch Break (lunchtime clubs are held each day)

1.00 – 3.00pm - Core and foundation subjects learning

3.00 pm  - Cosy Reading (class book)

3.20 pm - End of School Day

3.20 - 4.30 pm - After school activities are held.  Parents are always informed in advance of these.
